
To date this is the largest Poya in the world, covering an area of 460m2.
The fresco was painted right onto the rear facade of Les Nations hotel in Geneva, or more precisely at 62 Rue Grand-Pré. It can be seen from the Patio de l'Europe.
To paint this scene depicting the annual summer migration of cows to the high alpine meadows, revisited "à la Genevoise", artists Sara H. and DelaPerouze (the creator of Tétra-vaches) had to use more than 465 kilos of paint and 3500 metres of adhesive tape.
The artists, who live in Yverdon-les-Bains, have had to travel 12 000 kilometres during the four months it took them to complete this work commissioned by Philippe Guénat, the owner of the hotel.
